Static Dress Anaheim Concert reviews
Way better than I hoped for.
"I am so glad we made the right choice. I left with a new respect for Nicks and could have used another song or two. After the concert, my mom admitted she had mostly wanted to see the icon and previously had half-wondered if Nicks was riding on an old legend, but she took even the thought back and was impressed too, and is now buying up all their old albums it looks like :) A lot of concerts it's like they try to cover up the singer's unadjusted voice with loud music, but their voice was rich and hearable. I even followed many of their new songs, when sometimes I can barely make out the actual words of songs I do know at other concerts. They seemed genuine from the start. It was like they had invited us into their living room and tried to entertain us for the night. I dig some Fleetwood Mac but hadn't understood how much of a songwriter Static Dress is, or how talented they are. It really seemed like they were speaking to us the audience instead of reciting a practiced script. It was some of, if not the best acoustics of any concert I've been to. I originally just wanted to take my mom to see Red Rocks, and it was between Jurassic Park on Monday, or Static Dress on Tuesday. I was blown away."
